Boston Marathon Showcase Weekend
We are about a month away from the 130th running of the Boston Marathon, and the Genesee Valley Harriers have created a special weekend of events to celebrate!
On Friday, March 20th, GVH is partnering with FarFetched Enterprises for an exclusive, one night only screening of Boston: The Documentary at The Little Theatre. This feature-length documentary blends archival footage and athlete stories to tell the iconic race’s 120-year history. Narrated by Boston native Matt Damon and featuring athletes such as John Kelley, Stylianos Kyriakides and Shalane Flanaghan. Focusing on the race the year after the tragic events of 2013, the film celebrates the marathon as a symbol of unity, perseverance, and the enduring human spirit.
