Race Info

This year we will be unable to host an in-person event but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little Thanksgiving Family Fun!

For 2020 the Feast has gone virtual! You choose your own distance and route and share your fun via social media.

Register before November 16th and receive a lightweight, gender-specific hoodie. The first 100 registered participants will receive a pair of lightweight, high-visibility running gloves.

Order pies from Special Touch Bakery and pick them up at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday, November 24. Have a great pie and support and awesome cause!

Get ready for your Thanksgiving feast by running 2 or 5 miles through downtown Rochester. The race starts outside the Blue Cross Arena and ventures towards the University of Rochester campus. This out and back course is flat, fast and fun for the whole family.

  • Thanksgiving Day:  Thursday November 26, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Starts and finishes just outside of the Blue Cross Arena

Registration Info

  • $25.00 if you register before 11:59 pm on June 30, 2020.
  • $27.50 from July 1, 2020 through August 31, 2020.
  • $30.00 from September 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020.
  • $32.50 from October 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020.
  • $35.00 from November 1, 2020 to November 17, 2020.
  • $37.50 from November 18, 2020 to November 24, 2020.
  • $40.00 on November 25, 2020.
  • $45.00 on Race Day.
  • Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $10.00 off of the entry fee.

Packet Pick Up

Race packet pickup will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24 and 25.

Pies can only be picked up on Tuesday. Any pie not picked up on Tuesday will be donated to charity.

To save time on race day, we highly recommend that you pick up your race packet at Medved

Day of Race Packet Pick Up will be held in the lobby of the Blue Cross Arena starting at 7:30 a.m.

Awards

  • Four lucky participants will win a pair of running shoes from New Balance!
  • Top Male and Female Finishers
  • Top Masters (40+) Male and Female
  • Age Group Winners for the 5-Miler will receive a pie from Special Touch Bakery.
  • Top three places of each age group receive a prize (5 mile race);  Age group winner receives an award for the 2 mile race.

Race Amenities

  • Gender-specific long-sleeve race shirt for participants that register by November 16th.
  • Lightweight, high-visibility running gloves for the first 100 registered participants.
  • Light refreshments served after the race in the Blue Cross Arena
  • Timing by PCR Timing
  • Thanksgiving Pies can be pre-ordered through Special Touch Bakery
