MEDVED ENDURANCE PROJECT

I’m so glad I decided to join the Medved Endurance Project!  I was nervous in the beginning of my journey because I would not have considered myself a runner by any definition.  However, I was welcomed with open arms by the amazing coaches, as well as the Ambassadors.  There is a home for every level of runner, which is what I consider myself now.  From ultramarathoners to walkers just starting out and everyone in between – there is someone to run with you, encourage and motivate you, play therapist for you, lift you up, laugh with you and become a family for you.  I’m blessed by the people I have met through the MEP. Whether you join us on Saturday mornings or Tuesday evenings and Saturdays, you will be greeted with a smile and be glad you showed up!

The Medved Endurance Project is a supportive, encouraging, community-based training program offered through Medved Running & Walking Outfitters. Our group includes walkers and runners of all levels—social accountability partners, marathon training pain-cave pushers, new moms, seasoned grandpas, and everyone in between.

Choose the schedule and membership level that works best for you:

Membership runs in calendar-year quarters, but you can join at any time throughout the year.

We meet at a variety of locations around the Rochester area.  Some of our favorites include: Genesee Valley Park, Cobbs Hill, Brighton Town Park, and the Riverway/Canalway Trails.

Weekend Warriors ($25/Qtr or $80/Annual) – This level includes:

  • Saturday Morning (8:00 am) Group Runs
  • Bonus Trail Runs! Typically held Sunday mornings at 8:30 am

Titans of Training ($110/Qtr or $400/Annual prorated) – This level includes:

  • All Weekend Warrior benefits
  • Tuesday Night (6:00 pm) Coached workouts.
    • This consists of Hills, Speed, Recovery Run/Yoga, Pub Runs
    • Season appropriate trail and snowshoe runs
  • Personalized Training Plans upon request
