The Feast is about beginning Thanksgiving together. From the Kids Fun Run to the 2- and 5-mile races, the morning is filled with laughter, encouragement, and shared effort. The downtown Rochester course is flat and friendly, making it accessible for runners and walkers alike. What makes the race special isn’t the finish time — it’s the memories made along the way. It’s a tradition rooted in family, movement, and community.

COME FEAST WITH US!
Get ready for your Thanksgiving feast by running 2 or 5 miles through downtown Rochester. The race starts outside the Blue Cross Arena and ventures towards the University of Rochester campus. This out-and-back course is flat, fast, and fun for the whole family. Prizes will be awarded to the top overall winners, the top masters, and the top age group winners.
Register early to get a race shirt – they go fast!
Order pies from Special Touch Bakery and pick them up at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday, November 24th. Have a great pie and support an awesome cause!
Are you unable to make it to the race but still want to be part of the fun? Register for the virtual option, and we’ll send you a race shirt.
Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $5.00 off the entry fee.
The Kids 1/2-mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 am in an out-and-back route from the start line.
The 5-mile race will start promptly at 9:00 am.
The 2-mile race will begin at 9:20 am.
Packet pickup will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday, November 24, 2025, and Wednesday, November 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Pies can only be picked up on Tuesday, November 24. Any pie that is not picked up will be donated to a local charity.
Registration Info
We will need some volunteers to help out with a variety of tasks on race day and packet pickup days so please consider signing up for a volunteer shift to help out.
- Members of The Medved Endurance Project receive $5.00 off of the entry fee.

Can I Still Register?
Yes! Registration (online ONLY) closes 8:00 am on Thanksgiving Day.
Race Day PPU will be open from 7:45-8:30 am
What time does the race start?
The 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run will start at 8:30 am.
The 5-Mile Race starts at 9:00 am.
The 2-Mile Race will start at 9:10 am.
Race Announcements will begin at 8:45 am.
Can I pick up bib/shirt for someone else?
Of course!
Can I switch my shirt size?
Please bring your shirt to race day and we can exchange it with any leftovers after all registrations and PPUs have been completed
Where do I park?
Court Street garage, Civic Center garage, on-street parking (Broad St, Court St), 168 Exchange lot.
Are there water stops on the course?
2 Mile – No
5 Mile – Yes, at the mid-course turnaround point. Water only: no gu, gels, etc.
Can I run with my dog?
Due to insurance regulations, dogs are not permitted in the race.
Can I run with my stroller?
Yes, you are welcome to run with your stroller, but we request that you start near the back of the pack.
Award Structure
2-Mile: Prizes will be awarded to 1st Place Overall Female/Male.
5-Mile: Prizes will be awarded to Top 3 Overall Female/Male, 1st Masters Female/Male,1st AG Female/Male
Awards will begin ~10:15-10:30am

Race packet pickup will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 24 and 25.
Pies can only be picked up on Tuesday. Any pie not picked up on Tuesday will be donated to charity.
Race Amenities
- Plenty of free parking close to the Areana.
- Indoor bathrooms and gathering space at Blue Cross Arena.
- Light refreshments will be served following the race.
