Join us for our 35th annual Jungle Jog 5k run and walk, and the 3rd year of our three-race series celebrating the transformation of the Seneca Park Zoo. This year’s medal will interlock with 2022 and 2023, bringing together the last piece of the puzzle as we move another step closer to new experiences coming to the Zoo. Don’t miss the chance to complete your collection!

Bring a Water Bottle!
This year we continue the commitment to our mission of conserving wildlife and wild places by keeping this a ‘cupless’ race. We are encouraging all participants to bring a full bottle of water with them to use during the race. We will provide one refill station along the 3-mile route and at the finish line. Participants will enjoy refreshments in the Wegmans Lodge post-race. To learn more about our conservation efforts, click here.

Registration information: Registration opens April 1, 2024 and closes on Saturday, July 20 at 2:00pm

- Thursday, July 18, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the Seneca Park Zoo parking lot, 2222 St. Paul Street, Rochester NY 14621
- Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Medved Running and Walking, 3400 Monroe Avenue, Rochester NY 14618
The race-day packet includes your bib number and any giveaways (t-shirt, medal) that were included with your registration. If you are unable to pick up your packet before the race-day, please contact us directly at events@senecazoo.org.

Recruit your friends, family, and colleagues to run with you and raise additional donations as a group and do more to support our many education and conservation programs here at the Zoo, in our community and around the world! You can become a fundraiser or join a team by going to our donation page.
All those who raise over $250 dollars in donations will be automatically entered in a drawing to win a once in a lifetime chance for an up-close encounter with one of our animals for up to 6 guests (ages 3+). Animal to be announced soon!
A winner(s) will be chosen on July 26, 2024! Date and time of meet and greet to be based on mutual availability of winner(s) and Seneca Park Zoo staff.
