LILAC RACE NEWS

The Lilac 5K & 10K races will be held on Sunday May 21st.    Here is what you need to know:

START TIMES

  • The 5K will start at 8 am
  • The 10K will start at 9:15 am
  • Please be at the race at least 30 minutes prior to the start time.
  • Both races will start in Highland Park on Highland Avenue

CAN I STILL SIGN UP FOR THE RACE?

  • Absolutely!!
  • On line registration will close on Thursday May 18th at 12 pm
  • After on  line registration has closed, you can still register in person at Medved through Saturday May 20th at 5 pm and at the Race Day Headquarters (corner of South Avenue and Highland Avenue) until twenty minutes before the start of the race.

PICKING UP YOUR RACE NUMBER AND SHIRT

  • Friday May 19th from 10 am to 9 pm at Medved
  • Saturday May 20th from 10 am to 5 pm at Medved
  • You can pick up your race number and shirt on race day starting at 7 am.  We strongly encourage you to pick up your race number and shirt at Medved to avoid the race day lines and help us get the race started on time. 

PARKING

  • Is available in the Festival Parking Lots off of South Avenue

POST RACE AFTER PARTY

  • Will be available held near the Sahlen’s Main Stage
  • Live music, bagels, Red Jacket Orchard juices, Dunkin Donuts coffee,& snacks are provided
  • Pancake breakfast, beer, mimosas & bellinis will be available for purchase
  • Water will also be available immediately behind the finish line area

AWARDS

  • 10K and 5K awards will be given out at approximately 10:30 am at the Sahlen’s Main Stage
  • Any awards not pick up at the ceremony will be available at Medved

RACE RESULTS

  • Will be available on the Leone Timing Website shortly after the conclusion of the race
  • We will have a link on the Medved Home Page and on our Facebook page once we return from the park.
  • We will also send out an email to with a link to the race results by early after noon on Sunday.
