Learning The Trails Beginner Trail Running Program
Are you interested in becoming a trail runner, but don’t know where to start? Check out our Learning The Trails beginner trail running program. This course is designed to improve your trail running and as a result help keep you safe. The classes will have just a few minutes of lecture and discussion followed by short group runs.
The workouts will be held on Monday nights at 6:15 pm at Durand Eastman Park in Irondequoit. To participate in the course you should be able to run a road 5k without stopping. A main goal for this program will be to have all new trail runners comfortable running at least five miles so they can participate in A Midsummer Night’s Madness Trail Relay in Mendon Ponds Park at the end of August.
