Training available for all distances from 5k to Marathon

We have been fortunate enough to help area runners reach their goals since 1984. Our spring training groups are forming now. Let’s make 2019 the year you accomplish something special.
Whether you have never run a race or would like to try to build more consistency in your training; we are here for you with everything from choosing the right running shoe to completion of the event. Need motivation? Techniques for staying on track both physically and mentally will be addressed as well.
This 10 week program is tailored to your individual needs in a fun setting with personal coaching and encouragement. It will culminate in the running of the Lilac Festival 5k or 10k (or both) on May 19, 2019. We have an extended 14 week program designed to get you ready for The Medved 5k To Cure ALS on June 16, 2019 (Father’s Day.) For a limited time, if you sign up for both the race and the training group together you will receive a special discount to both.
Support for your running program will be supplemented by discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, goal setting, stretching and more!
Group workouts will be on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. Come join in and share your running program with a supportive network.
Distance Training Program: Half Marathon, Full Marathon:
Do you need some assistance in training for your half or full marathon? Medved Training Programs can help. If you are new to long distances or you are looking to improve your times, we have a training program that can fit your needs.
Our 14 week programs tailor to your individual needs in a fun and supportive setting with personal coaching and encouragement.
In addition to training there will be discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, nutritional needs, goal setting, strength training, stretching, race preparation, and more!
The group will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. Weekly training plans will be provided for you to complete as your schedule allows.
We are currently offering an “early-bird” tuition rate of $135 if you register before February 1, 2019. 28 coached workouts for $135 is an absolutely amazing deal.

The training program begins on February 5, 2019 and runs through May 26, 2019. This is perfect timing to prepare for the Buffalo Full and Half Marathon or other spring race.
