DESCRIPTION:Where are we running this week? \nCheck here to see what trail adventures await! \nThe usual details: \nJoin us every Wednesday at 6 PM year-round for a free group trail run. \nOn Wednesday Nights at 6 p.m.\, our friendly group meets at various parks and trailheads and heads out together for an hour-long trail run. \nWhat to Expect: \n\nGuided runs: Led by Medved Staff and Ambassadors.\nApprox. 1-hour duration: Enjoy a leisurely run through scenic trails.\nAll levels welcome: Runners of all speeds and abilities are encouraged to join.\nFree participation: No cost to join the runs.\n\nSafety First: \n\nLeave pets at home: For the comfort of all participants\, our runs are human only.\nWe run in all kinds of weather: Please note that run locations may be altered depending on trail conditions. Changes will be posted before the run on our Instagram account @Medvedrun\, in the shop’s weekly newsletter\, and on the website event page.

DESCRIPTION:BOO. \nMedved’s special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the Halloween-themed Scarrier Games on Thursday\, October 22nd\, 2026. \nWe will be haunting Victor this year. \nJoin your fellow ghouls and goblins for a spooky hunt at DeWolf Brewing in Victor. Friends from Saucony will be on hand with prizes and demo gear for you to try out. \nThe Game \nThe spooky hunt is a course with checkpoints and challenges. There will be plenty of bat and pumpkin-shaped nonsense to keep things interesting. \nTeam Up or Go Solo \nIf you are a solo player\, you can join any team you want or select the Free Agent team. All players must register to participate. \nThis year’s spooky hunt is a great way to meet new people and make new running friends! Teams will fill up fast\, so if you and your friends want to run together\, you all need to sign up for the same team to secure your spots. \nGame day check-in will open at 5:30 PM\, and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. \n(Each team will be required to carry a cell phone and have access to post on the Medved Facebook Group Home Page to earn points) \nGame Rules: \n\nIn a choose-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt\, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.\nYou will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at Scarier Games check-in on game day.\nTo claim your points for each location/challenge\, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location and post to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook Group.  Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!\nPosts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time.  Any posts after this time will not count.\nAll participants are required to follow traffic and pedestrian regulations at all times.\nHeadlamps & Reflective gear are required to participate.\n\n\nBonus Points: \n\nEarn bonus points by financially donating to the Verona Street Animal Shelter when you sign up.\nEarn bonus points by dressing up in the theme of your team and the spirit of the games!\nEarn bonus points by wearing Saucony shoes to the Games!\n\n\nWhat:  Medved’s Scarrier Games\nWhen: Thursday\, October 22\, 2025\nWhere: DeWolf Brewing\, 60 Maple Ave\, Victor 14654\nWant to see what the last Scarrier Games at Triphammer were like?  https://youtu.be/jKn5Gf8_72A?si=Y9RaUzE5KNhIxsYu
