Are you unable to make it to the race but still want to be part of the fun? Register for the virtual option\, and we’ll send you a race shirt. \nThe Kids 1/2-mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 am in an out-and-back route from the start line. \nThe 5-mile will start promptly at 9:00 am. \nThe 2-mile will begin very shortly afterward (9:10 am). \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, October 23rd\, our Thirsty Thursday run will be traveling to the Triphammer Bierwerks in Fairport to join the Scarrier Games. \nMedved’s special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the Halloween-themed Scarrier Games on Thursday\, October 23rd\, 2025. \nWe will be haunting Fairport this year. \nJoin your fellow ghouls and goblins for a spooky hunt at Triphammer Bierworks in The Cannery! Friends from Saucony will be on hand with prizes and demo gear for you to try out. \nThe Game \nThe spooky hunt is a course with checkpoints and challenges. There will be plenty of bat and pumpkin-shaped nonsense to keep things interesting. \nTeam Up or Go Solo \nNew This year\, there are 16 team names to choose from\, all inspired by iconic 1980s movies. Each team has space for 5-10 players. You’ll choose your team name when you register\, and that will be your theme for the game. \nIf you are a solo player\, you can join any team you want or select the Free Agent team. All players must register to participate. \nThis year’s spooky hunt is a great way to meet new people and make new running friends! Teams will fill up fast\, so if you and your friends want to run together\, you all need to sign up for the same team to secure your spots. \nGame day check-in will open at 5:30 PM\, and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Patriot Games\nMedved’s special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the Red White and Blue-themed Patriot Games on Thursday\, June 26th\, 2025 \nRegistration will open on April 1st\, 2025 at 2:51 pm EDT. \nThe good folks at Peacemaker Brewing (39 Coach St\, Canandaigua\, NY 14424) will be once again hosting our Patriotic play in the beautiful village of Canandaigua. Our friends from New Balance have pledged to join us in Gameplay on a course comprised of checkpoints and challenges with the usual nonsense. \nTeams of 5 -10 (the most members allowed to collect points on a team are ten participants) will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes. Half scavenger hunt\, half adventure race\, all America\, total fun! \n  \nGame Rules:\nA choose-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt\, where runners earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges. There may be one or more mandatory checkpoints in addition to several optional CP’s.\nYour team will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at The Patriot Games check-in on game day

DESCRIPTION:Ready to Pun? \nMedved’s special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the April Fools-themed Lloyd & Harrier Games Too on Tuesday\, April 1st\, 2025. \nOur Friends at Three Heads Brewing (186 Atlantic Ave\, Rochester\, NY 14607) are hosting our shenanigans and gameplay spans a course comprised of many ridiculous and foolish places around Rochester\, New York. Half scavenger hunt\, half adventure race\, extra foolish nonsense\, total fun! \nRegistration:  Want to Captain a team? Captains register first\, create their team name\, and then have their Team Players register under that team.  Don’t want to captain?  Sign up as a Free Agent and join the Free Agent Team and you can meet new running friends! \nTeam Requirements: \n\nTeams of 5 -10 players who work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes.\nGame day check-in will open at 5:30 PM and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check-in by 6 PM.\nEach team will be required to carry a cell phone and have access to post on the Medved Facebook Group Home Page. The Team Captain will also be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.\n\nGame Rules:\nA choose-your-own-adventure scavenger hunt\, where runners earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges. There may be one or more mandatory checkpoints in addition to several optional checkpoints.\nYour team will receive the scavenger hunt list at The Lloyd & Harrier Games Too on game day.\nTo claim your points for each location/challenge\, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page. Please make sure you are a member of this group before game day!\nPosts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time (6:15 pm – 7:30 pm). Points will not be awarded for posts outside of that time frame.\nAll participants are required to follow traffic and pedestrian guidelines at all times.\nHeadlamps & Reflective gear are required\, with no exceptions.
