The Mendon Trail Run raises funds to support the activities of the Club\, which is one of the most active Orienteering Clubs in the US (to learn more\, or to attend one of our events\, see https://roc.us.orienteering.org/). \nThe trail run features distances of 10K\, 20K\, 30K and 50K on the east side of beautiful Mendon Ponds Park.

DESCRIPTION:BOO! Medved’s special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the Halloween themed Scarier Games Thursday October 24th\, 2024. \nThe good folks at the Sheffield Pub (1776 Monroe Ave\, Rochester\, NY 14618) will be hosting this year’s spooky hunt in Brighton and our friends from Saucony and Nathan are joining us with Demos and prizes. Game play takes place on a course comprised of checkpoints and challenges with the usual pumpkin shaped nonsense. \nRegistration is required by both Team Captains and Players. Team Captains will need to register first and create a team name and then Team Players will register under their specific team name. The Captain will be required to have all team participants sign the waiver form at the Scarrier Games check-in on game day.  The Team Captain will also be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games. \nTeams of 5 to 10 will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit. Half scavenger hunt\, half adventure race\, extra nonsense\, total fun! \nDon’t have a team? No problem\, Sign up as a Free Agent and we will get you on a team.

DESCRIPTION:Join our friendly group that meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm for a trail run.  \nThis week we will be exploring more of the Cresent Trail. Park in the Distillery parking lot Victor – easternmost side of parking lot \n We explore various regional trails throughout all seasons and run on a variety of surfaces\, easy trails\, rail to trails and single track through all kinds of weather. After a run of about an hour we will either tailgate in the parking lot or grab a beverage and some snacks at a nearby venue and kick back to talk about running\, hiking and outdoor adventures.   \nAll runs are led by members of the Medved Staff and Medved Ambassadors and will typically last an hour. Runners of all speeds and abilities are encouraged to attend and participate. Our Runs are free to everyone. \nPlease leave your pets at home. We love dogs but not everyone is comfortable running with them and some areas we run do not allow them.
