Best of all\, your participation helps fund critical global conservation efforts through the International Elephant Foundation! \nJungle Jog is a 2026 Rochester Runner of the Year Series!\nLearn more by clicking the above link. \nRace Day Schedule \n\nGuided Warm Up at Starting Line – 7:30 a.m.\n5k begins at 8:00 a.m. in Seneca Park\nKid’s Fun Run begins at 9:00 a.m. in Seneca Park\, next to Wegman Lodge\nAwards given at the end of the race\n\nLocation & Parking\nJungle Jog begins and ends in Seneca Park near the Wegman Lodge and Trout Lake. Arrive through the St. Paul street entrance. \nSeneca Park parking lots will be open and available. Please note that parking is very limited. We encourage you to arrive early by 7:15 a.m. to give plenty of time to park and walk to the lower park and the Starting Line. Premier Parking services will be on-site to help guide participants to available parking spots. The entrance to Seneca Park will close promptly at 7:30 am and not re-open until after the last person has completed the race. Participants will need to walk to the starting line located at the north end of Seneca Park.\n\nPacket Pick Up\nThe race-day packet includes your bib number and any giveaways (t-shirt\, medal) that are included with your registration. Don’t wait until the day of the race to pick up your race materials! Others can get your packet for you; you just need to provide their name and/or registration confirmation. The event registration will close at 4 p.m. on Saturday\, July 18. No Day of Registration. \n\nThursday\, July 16\, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. @Seneca Park Zoo – 2222 St. Paul Street\, Rochester\, NY 14621\nSaturday\, July 18\, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. @Medved Running and Walking – 3400 Monroe Avenue\, Rochester\, NY 14618\n\nHydrate & Reuse\nThe Seneca Park Zoo Society continues the commitment to our mission of conserving wildlife and wild places by keeping this a ‘cupless’ race. They are encouraging all participants to bring a full bottle of water with them to use during the race. They will provide a refill station halfway through the 3-mile route and at the finish line. \nKid’s Fun Run!\nThis is a 100-meter dash and is open to children 10 and under. No cost to participate\, and each runner will receive a Fun-Run medal. Prizes will be awarded to top overall winners\, top masters\, and top age group winners.\n\nWhen you sign up you can also order pies from Special Touch Bakery (all orders for pies must be placed by 11/11/24) and pick them up at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday\, November 26 at the packet pickup. Have a great pie and support an awesome cause!\n\nAre you unable to make it to the race but still want to be part of the fun? Register for the virtual option and we’ll send you a race shirt.\nMembers of The Medved Endurance Project receive $5.00 off of the entry fee.\n\nPacket pickup will be at Medved Running and Walking Outfitters on Tuesday\, November 26\, 2023 and Wednesday\, November 27\, 2023\, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Pies MUST be picked up on Tuesday\, November 26. Any pie that is not picked up will be donated to a local charity (or eaten by Dave.)\nRace day packet pickup at The Blue Cross Arena will start at 7:45 am. We STRONGLY suggest that you pick up your packet at Medved on Tuesday or Wednesday.
