Please join us on Saturday May 11, 2019 for the 8th Annual ADP Helmet Heroes Run 5k/10k to benefit the Hickok Center. The races will take place at Mendon Ponds Park just south of Pittsford, New York and is held in memory of Andrew Parmeter, a 2007 graduate of Wayne Central High School. In January of 2011, he was a passenger in a car that hit a patch of snow and skidded off the road into a tree. After approximately 3 weeks in the Brain Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, Andrew succumbed to his injuries.

Andrew was an active young man who loved fishing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and being with his young nephews and friends. He had been working to reach his goal of joining the Navy and entering Special Forces training. Had he survived, he would have required a lifetime of support, like that provided by the Hickok Center to residents of Monroe and Wayne Counties.

5k, 10k and 1 mile fun run/walk. Cash awards for the overall men’s and women’s winners.
