Do you need some assistance in training for your half, full or ultra marathon? The Medved Distance Training Program can help. Whether you have never completed a half or full marathon, or you are looking to improve your times, The Medved Distance Training Program will fit your needs.
Our 16-week distance training programs are tailored to your individual needs in a fun and supportive setting with personal coaching and encouragement.
In addition to training there will be discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, nutritional needs, goal setting, strength training, stretching, race preparation, and more!
The group will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. We will meet at various locations in the Rochester area. We know that running is just one aspect of your very busy life and we do not expect that you will be able to attend every session! Weekly training plans will be provided for you.
The distance training program begins on May 25, 2021. The focus of this program will be the Old Forge Marathon Weekend September 9-11, 2021.
