2018 has ended and it is time to set your race schedule for 2019. We would like to suggest the following events which each offer discounts with the coupon code “2019Goal.”
The Sloppy Fools 4-Mile Trail Run benefits the Monroe Community College Foundation to support MCC’s Healthy Hero Summer Camp. The Healthy Hero Summer Camp offers academic, professional, and physical development for city school students. Camp activities include basketball, swimming, rope courses, cooperative games, math, literacy, and music education. The program is designed to help reduce summer learning loss in students.
The Medved Madness is a 15(ish) mile trail race held at Mendon Ponds Park. You can enter either in the solo division or form a three-person relay team. The race course consists of three distinct legs that each start and finish at the same spot, but follow different routes through the park. Registration includes a performance race shirt from The North Face to the first 250 registered runners that run at least one leg of the event, a post race catered meal, and a scenic course.
This Rochester Father’s Day tradition is now in it’s 20th year. The flat and fast course runs through downtown Rochester and finishes behind home plate at Frontier Field. Tech T-Shirts for the first 300 registered runners.
Start at 7:00 pm and run as many miles as possible before 7:00 am. While this is a 12 hour race, there is no minimum required amount of time to be on the course. One complete lap of the course qualifies you for an official finish. You can run as long or as short as you want. Run solo or form a relay team. This is always a favorite event.
Similar to our Medved Madness you will be able to run the course solo or as a team of three. This three loop course will take you through different parts of Mendon Ponds Park covering a little over 13 miles. All loops will start and end at Stewart Lodge and we finish the day with a catered barbecue and locally brewed craft beer.
This first year event is a 13.1 mile road running race that starts and finishes on the sparkling shores of Seneca Lake. Runners will be treated to great swag and amazing views.
Help us draw attention to Gynecologic Cancers – ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar, which pose significant threats to women’s health. Race proceeds go to Cancer Wellness Connections, a Rochester area non-profit which provides free diversionary activities to more than 15,000 people annually who are receiving outpatient chemotherapy treatment at Rochester area hospitals.
Can Lake 50 Ultras (50 mile, 50k, and 25k options)- October 12, 2019 – $5.00 off
Challenge yourself to something special in 2019. This is a well-supported event that takes you around Canandaigua Lake. Experience epic views and lasting memories. 12 aid stations ensure that you are never far from food and drink.
This is a fast flat course through the village of East Rochester is a part of the “Rochester Runner of the Year Series” and receives outstanding support from residents that cheer participants to the finish line. This year’s event benefits the Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Patient Needs Fund.
Get ready for your Thanksgiving feast by running 2 or 5 miles through downtown Rochester. The race starts outside the Blue Cross Arena and ventures towards the University of Rochester campus. This out and back course is flat, fast and fun for the whole family. Prizes will be awarded to top over all winners, top masters and top age group winners.
