For a limited time, we are offering a special on the number one socks in the running industry, Balega.
WHY BALEGA?
Balega is a company based on the belief of Ubuntu. Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’. It also means ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’.
Balega provides harmony in the fit, feel and performance of their socks that are founded on research, design, technical excellence, and durability.
Manufactured at their state-of-the-art facility in Cape Town, South Africa, utilizing the best performance yarns made in the United States, Balega’s socks are the most technically advanced of any socks on the market.
THEIR STORY
Balega’s proudly American/South African story is simple. They provide foot-solutions to help runners perform at their personal peak in comfort. In doing so they are afforded an opportunity to get involved in building closer, caring communities around us. This, in a nutshell, is their mission.
Balega strives to be consistent, reliable, operate with integrity and to excel in everything they do so that every day they can add value and operate in the true spirit of Ubuntu.

The Medved Winter Running Group is back! This training group is designed to create a broad, winter hearty, enthusiastic, running community. We will provide you with opportunities to learn and train to your highest ability utilizing weekly practices, group runs, and exclusive events. Our mission is to help you meet your personal goals on the race trail!
For those of you who are looking to join us for the first time, you can expect fun, camaraderie, a challenge, road trips and probably a few post-run pancakes and mimosas along the way. If you want a push to get out and stay active through the winter months, this is your calling.– Hibernation is now a thing of winters past!
We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm for workouts that will target strength, speed, and endurance on a rotating basis. Please be prepared for road, track, trail or snow-covered surfaces as we welcome all that Mother Nature wants to throw our way.
Saturday mornings we will meet at 8:00 am. We will take to the trails of our local parks for group runs. Again, please be prepared for snowy, icy or muddy trails – potentially all at once! We strongly suggest that you bring your trail shoes and traction devices to be ready for anything.
We strongly encourage participants to use running snowshoes when the conditions are appropriate.

In 2008 Turtle Fur created the Project Warmth initiative. They started small by first helping homeless shelters, hospitals, schools and family centers in and around their home in Vermont, and then expanding outwards to a national level to help those in need. Regardless of the region of the country, when temperatures go down and someone lacks proper housing, clothing or heat, it feels cold. That is why Turtle Fur created Project Warmth.
How it Works
Share a photo wearing your Turtle Fur product and tag them in it. Use #projectwarmth in the caption. They’ll see it and send one hat or cold weather accessory to someone in need.
Give 2x the Good
Medved is teaming up with Turtle Fur to double down on #projectwarmth.
If you also tag Medved an additional hat or cold weather accessory will be donated to someone in need.
