Don’t let the end of summer be the end of your fun time outdoors. Keep active with our Fall 5K Training Group Program.
Whether you have never run a 5K or would like to build a little speed or more consistency in your training; we are here for you . . . everything from finding a running shoe to completion of a 5K. Need motivation? Techniques for staying on track will be addressed as well.
Our 9 week program offers plenty of encouragement and provides different levels of coaching to meet your individual needs.
Either:
- Start a run/walk program and gradually build endurance or
- Build a faster and more consistent training plan.
Support for your running program will be supplemented by discussions on proper running shoe, fit dressing for various weather conditions, goal setting stretching and more.
Weekly training plans will be provided. Group workouts are held in the Brighton area on Wednesdays at 6 pm, starting on September 5th. This program also includes an optional Saturday morning run (starting at 8 am) from Medved. Come join in as you share your running program with a supportive network.
The tuition for the program is $75.00 which includes the coach's fee, entry into the Grocery Run 5K (which will be held on Saturday November 3rd), a performance running shirt, and Medved Store Specials. No Refunds after September 12th.
Our informational meeting will be held on Wednesday August 29th and 30th. Both meetings will start at 7 pm and will be held in the store.
