Distance Training Program Description

Do you need some assistance in training for your half, full or ultra marathon? The Medved Distance Training Program can help. Whether you have never completed a half or full marathon, or you are looking to improve your times, our distance training program that can fit your needs.

Our 15 week distance training programs are tailored to your individual needs in a fun and supportive setting with personal coaching and encouragement.

In addition to training there will be discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, nutritional needs, goal setting, strength training, stretching, race preparation, and more!

The group will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 7:30 am. Weekly training plans will be provided for you.

The distance training program begins on June 20, 2017 and runs through Saturday, October 7, 2017.  The focus of this program will be the the Empire State Half and Full Marathon in Syracuse on October 8, 2017. Register for the race with the coupon code “MEDVED20” for 20% off.
